I have been a coach at Top Gun for 4 years coaching teams that have won Jamfest Superfest Nationals in Indy and NCA in Dallas. I came to Top Gun to be on the Unlimited Coed team and won The Cheerleading Worlds in 2007 and now in 2010 on Top Gun International Open Coed 5 (placing 3rd in 2008 and 2009). I was a gymnast for 14 years, my childhood and most of my teen years, placing in the top 20 on floor at the Junior Olympic Nationals 3 years in a row. In February after a 4 year hiatus from the sport and only training 4 months I competed in the Winter Cup Challenge, the second biggest major competition for elite and olympic level athletes in the US. I placed 17th on vault and 20th on floor, respectively, just missing out on advancing to the finals competition. Although financial and time differences have deferred me from my gymnastics training, coaching cheer and tumbling is my passion along with gymnastics. |
